Our Story
Managing Director Paul began his career in carpentry and then advanced to owning an award-winning construction company, where he trained and employed many good builders. During this time, he sat on the Manukau Institute of Technology Advisory Board (2007-2008) and was heavily involved with Master Builders. Following the 2011 earthquakes, Paul and his family relocated to Christchurch, where CM-NZ was established.
CM-NZ Limited was founded by Paul Belcher in 2018.
Paul has an excellent relationality to CM’s cliental as he has undertaken the same roles as a builder, business owner and homeowner dealing with the earthquake aftermath. This empathy, wealth of experience and attention to detail has earned him an excellent reputation and many satisfied clients.
CM has grown over the past few years, equipping more team members who all have considerable experience and expertise in the construction sector.

Ministry of Education QS Panel
CM has been involved with many School-Led Projects which have involved: elemental estimates, schedules of quantities, tender evaluations, assistance with contractor panel selections, engineer to contract and QS roles during construction.

CM is proudly part of Amotai: an intermediary that connects Māori and Pasifika-owned businesses to ‘Buyer’ procurement contract opportunities.
Engineer to the Contract Panel
CM’s Managing Director Paul is on the Engineer to the Contract Panel, making him an available EtC to be selected by those entering construction contracts.
EQC On-Sold Programme
CM has been providing Project Management and Quantity Surveying services to support clients and builders undertaking earthquake repairs as part of the EQC On Sold Programme.
